• Preservation - The preservation of all classes of ecosystems and historic landscapes which in the aggregate originally gave Waimate North its own recognisable character.
• Flora - Promoting and facilitating the planting and protection of trees and other flora both indigenous and exotic on public and/or private land within Waimate North.
• Land - Purchasing land containing natural ecosystems and landscapes within Waimate North.
• Environment - Promoting and facilitating an environment within Waimate North in which indigenous fauna may flourish.
